Vacay Vue - Shopify Store for a Women's Handbag Brand

Overview
Vacay Vue is a D2C handbag and lifestyle brand selling totes, crossbody bags, duffle bags and shoulder bags, positioned around the idea of women who move the world: travel, leisure and everyday confidence. The brand needed a Shopify store that made browsing a wide range fast and visual, while carrying a values-driven voice covering women's empowerment, vegan materials and thoughtful design through every part of the experience rather than on an About page nobody reads.
The Challenge

A wide range and a brand voice that has to survive the shop

A handbag brand with several product categories, totes, crossbody, duffle and shoulder bags, needed clear category-first navigation so a shopper could jump straight to the style they came for instead of wading through the whole catalogue.

The values-driven positioning had to feel woven into the shopping experience rather than confined to a separate page most visitors never open, and it had to do that without slowing the purchase path down.
Our Approach

What we built

We built category-first navigation, with Tote Bags, Crossbody Bags, Duffle Bags and Shoulder Bag sitting in the main menu, so a shopper reaches their style in one click from any page. Sale pricing and review counts surface on the product cards themselves to support a fast decision. The "for women who move the world" positioning was written into the home page messaging and imagery rather than isolated on a static About page, and an FAQ section answers the practical questions, returns, shipping and manufacturing, that hold up a considered accessories purchase.

Decision signals on the card

Sale pricing and review counts on the product tile, so the shopper is not sent to a product page to learn them.

Brand voice across the shop

Vegan materials and the empowerment positioning carried through home page messaging and imagery, with an FAQ covering returns, shipping and manufacturing.

Tech Stack

What We Used to Build It.

A Shopify storefront where the brand positioning is carried by the home page and the product cards rather than parked on an About page.
